Corner Timer Privacy Policy

Corner Timer does not use advertising tracking or a developer-operated data server. Workout data may sync between devices through your private iCloud storage.

1. Personal data collected by the app

The app does not use accounts, advertising identifiers, location, contacts, microphone recording, analytics SDKs, or behavioral tracking, and it does not collect personal data. Photos taken with the sharing feature are not transmitted to the developer.

2. Information stored on device and in iCloud

Presets, workout history, intensity, and notes are stored on device. When you are signed in to iCloud, this information may also be stored in your private Apple CloudKit database and synchronized between supported devices using the same Apple Account. App preferences remain specific to each device.

3. Workout-result photos and sharing

Only when you choose to do so, the app uses the camera to take a workout-result photo and composes the session summary entirely on device. You can save the completed image to Photos or send it to Instagram or another installed app through the iOS share sheet. The app does not upload or retain photos on a developer-operated server.

4. System features

The app uses Apple's SwiftData and CloudKit for cross-device data synchronization. It uses notification, ActivityKit, and AVAudioSession features for bell alerts, Live Activities, audio mixing, and music ducking. A version check sends only the app identifier and App Store country code to Apple's catalog service; workout history, notes, and subscription status are never sent to a developer-operated server.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Apple's App Store processes Premium subscription payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. The app uses StoreKit to verify entitlements and product information but does not collect or store payment-method details.

6. Support-page inquiries

The public support form is separate from the app. It uses Netlify Forms to deliver only the email address, message, and diagnostic details that you voluntarily provide. This information is used only for customer support, not advertising or tracking, and is deleted within 90 days after the inquiry is resolved. Email is optional.

7. Third parties and tracking

The app does not perform advertising, profiling, or cross-app tracking. iCloud sync data is processed by Apple CloudKit in your private database and is not stored on a separate developer-operated server. Netlify's privacy terms apply to support-form processing.

8. Deleting information

Deleting workout records or custom presets in the app also synchronizes that deletion to iCloud. Deleting only the app removes the local copy, but data already synced to iCloud may remain and return after reinstallation, so delete items in the app first if you want them removed permanently. Temporary share images are deleted after sharing; delete images saved to Photos or another service from that service. To request deletion of a support inquiry, submit a new inquiry identifying the previous contact email and the deletion request.

9. Changes and contact

If app functionality or data practices change, this policy and its effective date will be updated. Contact is available through the Corner Timer support page.
